Being baptized is an important step in every Christian’s walk of faith. Why?

We believe baptism is:

A public declaration of God’s grace – And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38)

Your way of showing loyalty to Christ:

A commandment from Jesus – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:19–20).

Something that Jesus did – “And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him…” (Matt. 3:16–17).
