Rich and Nancy Gorgone

Lead Pastor

Pastor Rich and Nancy Gorgone relocated to Lakeland FL in 2020 from their lifelong residence in Long Island N.Y. Pastor Rich is a U.S. Navy veteran, retired NY police officer, and a graduate of Global University's Berean School of the Bible. Pastor Rich is an Ordained Minister of the Assemblies of God. He has served in multiple ministries over the last 20 years and pastored a church on Long Island from 2017-2019. Pastor Rich has served the body faithfully here at Southside as the Marriage/Family Pastor and as the Associate Pastor for approximately two years and was recently nominated by the search committee and elected by the church partners as our new Lead Pastor.

Nancy is an active registered nurse. Pastor Rich and Nancy have been married for 32 years, have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. Pastor Rich and Nancy both believe that they have been given a fresh vision for Southside Assembly that God has called them specifically to launch. A vision that includes a multicultural multi-generational family church of fully devoted authentic disciples of Christ who love God and love others by focusing specifically on outreach evangelism, discipleship, worship, and missions.

For over 30 years God has faithfully used Pastor Rich and Nancy to minister to countless numbers of people in countless different ministries and they are excited to see how God will use them at Southside Assembly Lakeland Florida.

Brandon and Sabrina Gorgone

Pastor Brandon Gorgone, who is originally from Long Island, New York and his wife Sabrina, originally from Menifee, Southern California are both excited for what God is doing in our Student Youth Ministry. They both have felt God call them to lead, grow, and build the kingdom with the gifts He has given them. With two kids of their own, they are excited to be part of a youthful environment and to lead the youth to grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Destiny Pacanins

Pastor Destiny Pacanins has been nurtured by the love and teachings of Southside from a young age. With the support of her husband Isaac Pacanins they are ready to embark on this sacred journey knowing that every step is guided by the hands of God. Destinys calling to children`s ministry wasn`t a path meticulously planned, but rather a sudden profound calling from God, which ignited her spirit with purpose and conviction. As she leads the youngest members of the congregation, Destinys heart swells with love and devotion, guiding them on their own spiritual journeys with tender care and unwavering faith!

Lindsey Croston

Discipleship Pastor


Pastor Lindsey has been credentialed with the A/G since 2013, and is a 4th generation ordained minister. She is passionate about equipping, empowering, and engaging individuals and groups as they develop thriving relationships with God and others. She is particularly excited to help people understand God's word more deeply and to find their unique place within the Body of Christ as they develop and deploy their spiritual gifts. When she's not doing ministry, you can find Pastor Lindsey spending time with her family - either homeschooling her daughters, singing Broadway songs in the car, listening to audiobooks, or playing board games together.

Dee Robles

My name is Dee Robles. I asked Jesus into my heart at the age of 17. I was baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit at the same age. I have been attending Southside for the past 11 years. My heart’s desire is to serve the Latino community as the Lord leads.

Mi nombre es Dee Robles. Le pedi a Jesus que entrara en mi corazo a la edad de 17 anos. Fue bautizada en aqua y bautizada con el Espiritu Santo a la misma edad. He asistido a la Asamblea de Southside durante los ultimos 11 anos. El deseo de mi corazo es servir a la comunidad Latina sequin la guia del Senor.
