Southside Kids exists to lead children into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ, while embracing the fun and joy of childhood!
Through fun experiences, meaningful music, and ministry that encourages kids to participate, we present Jesus Christ and His Church in a relevant way, creating moments that children will never forget.
First Time Families
From the moment you walk onto our campus, you'll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way.
Your first stop when you arrive is the first-time check in area. We want to serve you and your child well, so we'll take some time to get to know you. We'll ask about allergies, make sure what your child likes to be called and collect your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the gathering, you'll receive a text message to your phone. This sticker is also what you'll use to pick-up your child after gathering.
Nursery
6-24 months
Your child will experience personal care from our well-staffed team. We keep our nursery rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned each service. We know babies have specific needs and schedules, so when you bring your child to the nursery, we have an easy-to-fill out form that you can fill out to let our team know of any feeding or sleeping needs.
Preschool
2-5 Years
We have a preschool classroom that is specifically designed for your child. From age-appropriate toys and special service elements just for them, our team is ready to care for and have fun with your little ones during service. In preschool, children start to engage more with their experience. We help them interact with their friends, form relationships with their teachers, and build their faith in God. Each week they will engage with Bible stories, worship songs, prayer time, and a Big Idea from the lesson that they will memorize for the week! Each week your child will come home with a "Home Guide" for you to complete with your child throughout the week.These guides provide the memory verse, the Bible Story, as well as discussion activities that will help deepen their understanding of the lesson that week.
Elementary
k-5th Grade
KidZone is a safe, clean, fun and exciting place for children, K thru 5th grade, to come and grow spiritually and to make Friends. At Southside Church our goal is that our children will leave knowing that God loves them, and that Church is fun. Families are a big priority here at Southside, so we partner up with parents to help develop and teach their children to be disciples of Jesus, and world changers. We teach them God's Word, as well as how to deal with everyday situations in life. We work to instill a servant's heart in each of our kids so, as they are growing, they too, will want to serve Jesus.
Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is a mentoring ministry for future men, providing Christ-like character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment. Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ-like men and lifelong servant leaders. Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
Girls Ministries
Girls' Ministries is an outreach and Christian discipleship for girls. We teach the girls biblical truths that will help them in learning to make God pleasing decisions. Our sponsors work to teach the girls to be women of God through mentoring and building personal relationships, as well as teaching them how to deal with everyday life struggles. Most important is to teach the girls how to have a lasting and personal relationship with Christ. We meet every Wednesday at 7:00pm. Come check us out!
